Description:

The course covers all the required theory and practical skills relating to designing and installing grid-connected PV systems. There are three units of competency covered by this "skill set".

 

  • UEENEEK025C Solve basic problems in photovoltaic energy apparatus
  • UEENEEK035C Design grid connected power supply systems
  • UEENEEK048A Install, configure and commission grid connected Photovoltaic Power systems

 

(These three units of competency have been mapped to qualification UEE42007 Certificate IV in Electrical-Photovoltaic Systems).

 

Electricians who successfully complete this course (both theory & practical components) will meet the requirements for the CEC Design Install Grid Connect PV Systems Accreditation and be eligible to apply for provisional accreditation through the Clean Energy Council (www.cleanenergycouncil.org.au)

 

Pre-requisites: Participants must be a registered/licensed electrician or a fourth year apprentice. (Please note: 4th year apprentices will not be issued with a Statement of Attainment until they have sucessfully completed their trade certificate and applied for their license).

You will be required to bring your own harness, PPE, enclosed shoes, pen, paper and scientific calculator.

 

Delivery: 28/05/2012 - 23/06/2012

Theory: Online learning 28 May 2012 (Two weeks to complete)

Practical: 22 & 23 June 2012 2012
